This is my Signature chip lo-iron Family plaque. The design is gently carved into the glass. Family plaques and signs have become very popular. Home Established plaques
The Home Established plaque has been a favorite and popular item. It combines the family/welcome plaque with when the family was started. This is a great gift for men because they can see the date and are less likely to forget their anniversary. The first names and the names and birthdays of the kids can also be added.
This piece also has extra artwork to customize it for us. I added our trademark double d in the middle with a couple of stars burst. The starburst are accents. I have several to choose from and I can create custom accents at your request.
This is a home established plaque with the first names etched on the front of the glass and the rest of the design etched on the back. This is the same as having a sign painted in two different colors. It is a cool way of adding the members of the familys names. I think it looks better in person than it does in the pictures. Order the size you would like and I will contact you via email to see how you would like the artwork to look. I will then send the artwork for your approval.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference in glass and size?
This is so you can compare the jade {green} glass and the clear {lo-iron} glass. You can also compare the small straight chip to my signature chip. This is a sample of jade glass on the left with a standard chip, the size is 8" x 10" tall. The glass on the right is clear glass with my signiture chip, the size is 7" x 5" tall. It is the same etched design on both pieces. I dropped it down and stretched it out and added "The" to make it fit better on the taller glass {left}. I think this design looks better on the wider/shorter glass {right}. The taller piece would work well for adding first names, accent design or adding the home established with date.
How can you make the piece more of a custom fit?
These two pictures are of the same glass. I thought it would make this design look better to shape the glass to fit the word welcome. I rechipped it with my signature chip. I also chipped the sides to make the family name fit the glass. You can see that it makes a dramatic difference. The custom chip makes the whole design look more custom and complete
Lettering and font styles
I have several font styles to choose from, as shown. This is to keep it simple and to not boggle your brain with to many choices. These are the top 12 fonts that I use. For those of you that want to be creative or unique... here is access to numerous fonts at MyFonts. Please note, If you pick a font from MyFonts, email me the name when I send you email about your artwork. Do Not buy it, I will do that and I may already have it. If you have a certain font in mind, you are sure to find it here. You can look at the thousands of styles if you want. Or you can visit my album at MyFonts to look at more lettering styles that I think would etch very well. The fonts in my album would not cost extra because they are on my wish list or I already have them. Fonts chosen from main web site could cost extra. This is usually around $19.00 but as high as $100.00. If it is a font that I do not think I will use again, I will have to charge you. There are free fonts on the internet but I MUST have a commercial licence to use them.
How long does it take?
There are too many styles and shapes to keep them all in stock. When you order I will send an email letting you know what the shipping schedule will be. I will stock the most popular. If I have to order in the glass I can still usually ship in two weeks.
Ordering information
When I receive your order I will send an email to you to find out the lettering style or font, logo information if applicable and the family name and/or what you want to say. When I receive that information I will email back the artwork with the time frame for shipment. All my work is made for you at the time of order. Shipping
I ship to the lower 48 contiguous states. I will ship with FedEx Home Delivery in most cases. If you need shipping to another country or outside the contiguous 48 States, please email me first for a quote.
